WSPiC Accolades 2024!
It’s that time of year again, when we ask you to nominate the heroes in social care. Recent times have shown how hardworking, resilient and dedicated our workforce is, and now is the time to say a huge thanks and give them the recognition they deserve!
Every year we are honoured to have the opportunity to read some of the most inspiring stories and share the best of them at our annual award ceremony. This year will be bigger and better than ever- we’re going all out with plans well underway for a night to remember.
This year we have made it even easier for you to nominate and meet the criteria for each category. You can either click the link for an online form below, or download the nomination form to email us.

Who can make a nomination?
Anyone can nominate, and it’s completely free! Each nomination form will outline the category criteria, giving you opportunities to give examples of the nominee’s work and contribution to the sector.
How to nominate
It’s even easier to nominate this year! You can fill out a simple online form or download one above and email it to us at [email protected] by the 19th April.
Choosing the finalists
Judging of the nominations will take place in April. The judging panel will be made up of WSPiC Board members, our colleagues in West Sussex County Council and sponsors of each award category.
We ask every nomination to be anonymised to ensure a fair process. Please do not name the organisation or nominee by name when answering each question. We would encourage you to use initials instead.
The person who submitted the nomination will be notified if their nominee is shortlisted for an award. The nominee and a guest will be invited to an evening of celebration on the 23rd May from 6pm.
The award ceremony
We will be pulling out all the stops to make it a night to remember!
This years glittering ceremony will be held at the picturesque Long Furlong Barn in Worthing.
Shortlisted nominees will be invited to an evening of celebration, starting with welcome drinks in the courtyard before they are shown into the beautiful barn for a delicious three course meal and light entertainment. Once the meal is finished and the plates cleared, we will move onto the main event of the evening: the presentation of awards! Our partners and sponsors will share excerpts from the inspirational nominations and invite the winners and finalists to the stage to collect their awards.
The evening will draw to a close but our work won’t stop there! We’ll be sharing a press release after the event across social media and local publications to give the nominees the recognition they deserve.
