We all know the excellent care that is delivered across West Sussex day in, day out; and the Services, individuals and teams that provide fantastic support to the most vulnerable individuals in County but don’t shout about it because ‘it is what we do’. The West Sussex Care Accolades are our annual celebration of all that’s good about care provision in the county. Over the years, an array of ‘the great and good’ have come to our ceremony to champion excellent care skills and practices, but the show is always stolen by the nominees, whose fantastic work is the reason why we are here.
The awards are open to all independent sector care services delivering care in West Sussex. Services can nominate and enter as many categories as are applicable to the care you deliver.

The 2017 West Sussex Care Accolades were held on 10th October 2017 at the Arundel Wetland Centre once more. After a buffet lunch, all of the winners and finalists were photographed with West Sussex County Council's Director of Adult Social Services, as well as our Chairperson, Rosemary Pavoni.
Then in the ceremony itself, each finalist and winner was presented with an award, certificate and voucher, while the audience were warmed by the stories told in their nominations.
