The WSPiC membership consists of care providers of Residential, Domiciliary, Nursing, Learning Difficulty and Mental Health homes. We work closely with West Sussex County Council and are passionate about being a voice for our members and the people they care for.

Projects

We strive to identify and seek out projects that will benefit social care services and deliver support, improvements and positive changes. From digitisation, to wellbeing, we are keen to support our sector in many varied ways and are supported by our passionate and driven project teams.

    The Data Security and Protection Toolkit is an annual online self assessment of your organisations data and cyber security arrangements. The team are here to assist you with completing it!

  • MILE Pathway

    The MILE Pathway prioritises the management and leadership CPD of Registered Managers across Sussex and advocates for Social Care.

  • Sussex digital in reach

    The Sussex Digital In Reach Team provide a free platform on which Care Providers across Sussex can access free advice and support on technology, digitalisation and data protection.

  • international recruitment

    The Government is committed to helping providers make more effective use of international recruitment to help grow the adult social care workforce. We will be sharing guidance and information about grants available to support overseas recruitment in Sussex.

  • The Great Care Employer

    The Great Care Employer scheme aims to attract people who are looking for a rewarding career in the care profession and support West Sussex care providers to promote their best practice.

    This new and exciting project has been designed with WSPIC and WSCC to base assessors in acute hospitals to support care homes to undertake assessments for people awaiting discharge from hospital.
