Carewise care funding advice scheme

Carewise is a partnership between West Sussex County Council, Age UK West Sussex , the Society of Later Life Advisers and West Sussex Partners in Care. It was established to provide trustworthy information and advice to people about choosing and paying for long-term care. The scheme  includes a panel of care fees specialists who are qualified, independent financial advisers specialising in later life advice.

Getting good information and specialist financial advice about paying for long-term care at an early stage helps people to make well-informed decisions. Helping your residents to maintain financial stability is also important to the sustainability of your businesses.

Carewise care fees specialists and representatives of the Age UK Money Advice Service would be pleased to hold seminars or surgeries for your residents and their relatives in your care home, perhaps as part of an event or Open Day.  They would speak about the benefits of the Carewise scheme, answer questions, and explain how to access further specialist information and advice.
